I have an admission to make. Even though the rest of Vows is a slam dunk, I don’t care for the album version of this song. However, this live performance is absolutely heart wrenching. Kimbra’s power and timidity at all the right times has done more than plucked at my heart strings; this rendition is so depressingly beautiful it has me reeling.
